Hi, I’m Mavis Malecek! A Graphic Designer with a curious eye and a love for dynamic visual storytelling. I’m especially interested in roles focused on UI/UX design, Social Media Content Creation, and Motion Design, but I also enjoy apparel, print, and branding projects that let me explore different formats and ideas. I’m currently based in West Des Moines, Iowa and I hope to work locally in Des Moines or relocate to San Diego, though I’m open to relocating anywhere out West. My design approach blends thoughtful structure with expressive detail—I gravitate toward colorful, engaging visuals and aim to create work that feels both intuitive and bold. Whether I’m designing for screen or print, I care deeply about how design invites people to feel, connect, and explore.
