Forest Deyev

Hey, I’m Forest!! I’m a disabled and queer illustrator and graphic designer with a deep love for storytelling. I primarily work in digital mediums, creating colorful and highly detailed pieces, but I also love exploring traditional techniques like ink and dip pen, gouache, and watercolor.  I run my own Etsy shop, forestquills, where I sell stickers, buttons, prints and more, and I’ve recently started vending at local markets. Connecting with my community through art has been incredibly rewarding and continues to inspire me to create even more. I would love to continue working in Des Moines especially making more work that the public will see like murals and sign painting as well as continue working towards my dream of becoming a graphic novel illustrator and writer.
