My name is Amy Petersen, but most people know me as Mal. I am a passionate animator and illustrator with a focus on 3D character animation. I have always felt a strong connection with art as a whole, but animation will always be the strongest and most compelling way to tell stories in my eyes.
Throughout the time studying animation at DMACC, I have learned essential skills to allow me the opportunity to tell the stories I have to share. I have learned not only the fundamentals of animation, but industry insights and truly indispensable skillsets and in depth understanding of the media.
One day I hope to create my own animated series so that other passionate people can also witness the magic of animation and fictional storytelling.
